The rapid introduction of Modern styling in the mid 20th century led to an ongoing thirst for change in our homes, our automobiles, planes, buildings and just about everything else that conveyed style. Hence, the term "Contemporary" style, which is not defined by any time period, but rather reflects our current tastes and is constantly changing with time.
