Transitional Style

As the name implies, Transitional style is simply a blending of two styles - Traditional and Modern. This means you can pair wood and moldings with your plain white shaker or flat panel doors for instance. But be very careful because this freedom of expression that transitional styling gives us begs for the guidance of an experienced designer. Any visual mistakes we make in building our kitchens and bathrooms can be both disheartening and costly. So, while transitional style probably gives us the best method of displaying our preferences and emotions, it must be done with utmost care.
